Why embroidery — note 14

Print is the cheapest way to put a logo on fabric, and it shows. Ink sits on top of the garment.It cracks in the wash, softens, and reads as an afterthought because it usually is.

Series One is built the other way. Premium blanks — heavier weight, tighter stitching, garments that hold their shape past the season they were bought in. Then embroidery, stitched into the fabric rather than laid across it. It costs more per piece and takes longer to produce. That's fine. The point of this run was never margin.

If you're going to wear something for years, the construction decides how it ages, not the graphic. We chose accordingly.
