How it is made: Bella+Canvas 4719 oversized hoodie

The Bella+Canvas 4719 starts with dye, not thread.

Before any panel is cut, the fabric is dyed. Order matters here. Color goes into the textile first, so each panel cut from that roll carries the same tone through the yarn — color all the way through, not a coating sitting on the surface waiting to scuff or fade unevenly. It also means shade can drift a little between dye runs. That's normal for dyed goods, and we'd rather tell you than pretend every batch is identical.

Once the panels are cut and sewn, the hoodie moves to embroidery. The chest-left mark is applied after dyeing, deliberately. Thread that went through the dye bath would come out tinted like the fabric. Applied after, the stitch holds its own color and sits crisp against the garment instead of blending into it.

That's the whole branding decision: one mark, chest left. No back hit, no sleeve hit. The fabric does most of the talking; the embroidery just signs it.

Dyed before cutting. Embroidered after. Everything else is the hoodie itself.
